The Fund for Public Interest (posted 2/8/18)
This Fall the Fund for the Public Interest is hiring students to work on their campaigns in the Boston area. The Fund for the Public Interest is a national non-profit organization that runs grassroots campaigns. Right now the Trump administration and some of our leaders in Congress are pursuing an agenda that puts our environment and everyday people at risk. So, this fall and winter the Fund is running nationwide campaigns to defend our most important environmental and consumer protections. To tackle climate change and ensure that big banks and credit card companies don’t take advantage of people like you and me, it won’t be enough to be right or have a great argument. To get decision makers to do the right thing, you need hundreds, thousands, sometimes millions of people to make their voices heard through petitions, emails, small donations, and meetings.
That’s why The Fund running a campaign right now to SAVE THE BEES and our food supply. Without bees we lose everything from strawberries to coffee, so we will be calling on state decision-makers to ban bee killing pesticides in Mass.
To win this campaign we are hiring students across Massachusetts to get out into communities and build support for this issue. During your time with us you can expect to make $11-$16/hour. It’s a great way to build your resume and you get paid! We also have leadership positions available!

National Parks internships
Whether you’re in high school or college or have recently graduated, internships are a way to gain hands-on experience while helping to protect the nation’s natural and cultural heritage. The National Park Service has partnered with organizations to create internship opportunities; however, it also helps to contact a park directly to ensure that you know all the available opportunities.
