Basement, ReStore
The ReStore is a sustainable, donation based, volunteer run store. Our mission is to provide the MassArt community with free supplies so they can be successful in their artistic practices, while continuing our goals of sustainability and reuse.
Materials include: wood, plastics, paints/inks/drawing materials, painting/drawing tools, substrates, paper, fiber: yarn, string, other, fabric, clay, wax, metals, glass, hand tools, design tools, film, props, lights, tech, random findings, clothes, all types of paper, toys, books, basically anything people bring in that we can accept

The Shelf is MassArt’s food insecurity resource, open to all MassArt students, offering free non-perishable food and toiletries. Students can order groceries online to prepare meals at home, and take ready to eat ‘grab-n-go’ items from the Commuter Cafe.

The “MassArt SIM Crypt” refers to a specific, informal space within the Studio for Interrelated Media (SIM), serving as a shared resource/storage area for equipment, project materials, and a gathering spot for students, sometimes used for events like figure drawing with cosplay models, contrasting with typical crypts in churches but acting as a foundational, somewhat chaotic space for artistic experimentation.
